LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Do you have concerns about the future of public parking in Laguna Beach? The City of Laguna Beach announced that a public workshop focused on parking solutions will be held on Tuesday, and the community is invited to join in.

The purpose of the workshop is for residents to give input on parking solutions and help formulate the framework of the city's Parking Master Plan Study, a study which will ultimately identify future parking management and infrastructure options for Laguna Beach.

Laguna Beach city officials are asking for community input on the following topics:

  • Parking impacts on roads and local neighborhoods.

  • Inefficiencies due to decentralized parking.
  • Land availability for new parking infrastructure.
  • Historical impacts of small-scale pattern of development on parking.

The community workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Community and Susi Q Center, 380 3rd St. Face masks are encouraged for all members of the public who are unvaccinated against COVID-19.
